- Is there much of a disruption when insulation is removed?
With Four Seasons on the job, there is little disruption and very little mess during an insulation removal project. All of the machinery and equipment we use are outside of the home inside our trucks. Naturally, there may be small amounts of residual dust.
Our crews make every effort to keep the workspace clean and to ensure a thorough cleanup once insulation has been removed. We protect your home from any damage and make sure that all of the old insulation materials are disposed of – cleanly and safely.
- What are your steps for insulation removal?
Four Seasons Insulation provides a streamlined process for removing old insulation. We use state-of-the-art equipment to comply with any code requirements or local bi-laws.
The removal process is essentially a thorough “cleanup”, using very specialized vacuum equipment to collect/discard the waste insulation (though an exterior disposal system).
A complete “cleanup” means leaving no residual insulation, dirt or debris. We want to make sure that the space is in good shape for the installation of new insulation material.
When insulation removal is complete, we air seal the space and install new insulation, based on your needs. We recommend cellulose or fibreglass blown insulation products.
